School Day Timings

Borrow Wood school day timings are below: 

Nursery (FS1)

Morning session - 8.45am - 11.45am

Afternoon session - 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Reception (FS2)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and you drop your child off at the Early Years outdoor play area between 8.45am and 8.55am. Early years staff will be at the gate for you to speak to if required. 

Lunchtime – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

End of the day

Reception children are met at the green door at 3.30pm.

Nursery children are met at the yellow door at 11.45am (morning children) and at 3.30pm.

KS1 (Years 1 and 2)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and classroom doors are open until 8.55am.

Year 1 children (Damson and Pear) are dropped off at the double blue doors.

Year 2 children (Apple and Elder) are dropped off at their classroom doors.

School staff are available at the doors to share information if required.

Lunchtime – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

End of the day - 3.30pm

Pear children are met at the lower hall doors.

Damson children are met at the blue doors.

Apple and Elder children are met at their classroom doors. 

KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5, 6)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and children are dropped off at the upper playground gates except Peach class children, who are dropped off at their external classroom door by the upper car park.  

Lunchtime – 12.15pm – 1.15pm

End of the day - 3.35pm

You meet your children by arrangement on the upper playground or other areas of the school site.
