School Day Timings

Borrow Wood school day timings are below: 

Nursery (FS1)

Morning session - 8.45am - 11.45am

Afternoon session - 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Reception (FS2)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and you drop your child off at the Early Years outdoor play area between 8.45am and 8.55am. Early years staff will be at the gate for you to speak to if required. 

Lunchtime – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

End of the day

Reception children are met at the green door at 3.30pm.

Nursery children are met at the yellow door at 11.45am (morning children) and at 3.30pm.

KS1 (Years 1 and 2)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and classroom doors are open until 8.55am.

Year 1 children (Pears and Apples) are dropped off at their classroom doors.

Year 2 children (Elders) go to their classroom through the double blue doors.

School staff are available at the doors to share information if required.

Lunchtime – 12.00pm – 1.00pm

End of the day - 3.30pm

Year 1 children (Pears and Apples) are picked up from their classroom doors.

Year 2 children (Elders) are picked up from the double blue doors.

KS2 (Years 3, 4, 5, 6)

Start of the day

Gates open at 8.45am and children are dropped off at the upper playground gates.  

Lunchtime – 12.15pm – 1.15pm

End of the day - 3.30pm

You meet your children by arrangement on the upper playground or other areas of the school site.
