Our Governance Structure

As a Charitable Trust, the Board of Trustees has two core functions, which are to set the strategic direction of the Trust and to ensure financial compliance and solvency. It complies with charity and company law requirements and those set out in the Academies Financial Handbook 2019. The Trust Board is responsible for the outcomes achieved by all schools within the Trust and does this through a comprehensive Scheme of Delegation, which gives a high level of autonomy to Local Governing Boards.
