Maths (9:00-9:50)

Please log into Microsoft Teams for a 20 minute maths input. Then complete Unit 5 lesson 1 in your 'Power Maths Year 1 Practice Book' (Page 119-122).

Independent Reading (9:50-10:00)

Log into Oxford Owl and choose a book to read from your coloured reading band. The log in for the website is:

Reading task (10:15-10:35)

Please complete the following reading comprehension task. You can answer the questions verbally.

PSHE (10:35-11:35)

Pre learning task: think about what makes you special.

Main task: In your green topic books write today's date: Friday 8th. Draw and label a picture of everybody in your family, including pets. 

Write three reasons why your family are special using the sentence starter: 'my family are special because...'

Handwriting (11:35-11:45)

Please complete the following handwriting practice in your red handwriting books. Please write a whole line of each letter. Remember to write and underline today's date 08.01.21.

English (12:45-1:50)

Please log into Microsoft Teams at 12:45 for a 20 minute English input. In your pink English books, write today's date: Friday 8th. Draw and label pictures of what you would need to get to the moon - remember to use your sound mat to help you!

Phonics (1:50-2:10)

Please watch and join in with the pre-recorded phonics session for your group. We have emailed you with details of which video your child should watch and join in with. Complete work in your small green book, please remember to write today's date: 08.01.21.

Diary entry and golden time (2:10-3:20)

Please write a short diary entry explaining your favourite parts of the week, and anything you have struggled with. Please write these each Friday in the BACK of your pink English books - make sure you write and underline the date: Friday 8th! 

When you have finished the diary entry, enjoy some golden time. 

Optional Teams get-together (3:20-3:30)

Your teacher will be available for 10 minutes at the end of the day to ask questions and give or receive feedback, this is optional.
