If you do not have a book from your book band at home, you can access Oxford Owl for your 'reading for pleasure' using the username and password below.
Religious Education
This term we are focussing our learning around the following question:
"What does it mean to be a Muslim in Britain today?"
Please follow the link and watch the first video "How did the religion of Islam begin?"
Within this Video there are different times at which you need to pause the video to answer the questions.
You can write the answers to the questions in your jotter as you go along and mark them. At the end of the video there is a quiz for you to complete. You need to write the questions and answers to the quiz questions in your green TOPIC book like this:

Once you have completed this task, you can submit your answers on the website and then it will show you any answers you got incorrect. Mark the answers you got correct with your red pen and edit any in purple pen if you got any answers incorrect.

Here are the resources we will be using for our live session. The George's Marvellous Medicine document is an assignment on Teams which you need to complete and then submit back to Miss Newton using teams assignments.
Spelling
Complete the spelling tasks from the powerpoint in your Spelling Exercise book. Remember to write the date and title in your spelling book (don't forget to underline your date!) e.g.

Practise your beautiful cursive handwriting by copying the following poem into your Handwriting Book. Don't worry if it takes you longer than one session. You can work on this all week and illustrate it when you have finished the writing.

Here are the resources which Miss Newton will be using during your Teams session. Following the live teaching session you will need to complete the following in your blue maths book as we normally do at the start of maths lessons. You will find these on the PowerPoint below.

- You then need to mark these tasks yourself using the video attached below.
You now need to complete your Power Maths tasks. The answers are on the final slides of the PowerPoint so you will need to mark these as you go along and edit them in purple pen where needed.
PLEASE NOTE:
Palm class have already completed this lesson with Mrs Gratton. Anybody in Palm class will need to complete the 'multiples' activity below in their blue maths book instead of the Power Maths activity and mark it using the answers on the second page.
