Spelling

To begin with, you will need to ask a parent/carer to test you on the ten words below, which have been taken from the Year 5/6 spelling list and some follow the spelling rules you have been taught this year. Complete your test in the back of your English book, mark them with a red pen and do any corrections in purple pen.

  1. aggressive
  2. achieve
  3. according
  4. accompany
  5. accommodate
  6. golfer
  7. suffer
  8. differ
  9. infer
  10. inference

Handwriting

In your handwriting book, we would like you to write a line of each of the ten spelling words above before putting each word into a sentence.

14:00 - 14:55 PE

As it is difficult for us to deliver a PE lesson, we are recommending you complete one of two options.

Option 1

Here is a link to some 'Virtual PE Lessons' where you can access exercise videos aimed at children.

Option 2

The Government are allowing people outdoors to carry out some form of exercise, whether this is walking, running or cycling. You are allowed to exercise by yourself, with the people you live with or with one person from another household as long as you are on your own. Instead of completing a Virtual PE Lesson video, you may want to go out for a walk, run or cycle.

14:55 - 15:15 English Input

You will need to make sure you are logged into Microsoft Teams so you can take part in the English input, which will be delivered by Mr Mills.
