Reading 9:00-9-30

Your reading task for today is to read the final part of Chapter 5 p51-56. You will find this in your pack in the chapter 5-9 booklet. As you go along, you need to clarify the words highlighted in pink in your jotter (as well as summarise, predict and answer the questions) You can use a dictionary or an online dictionary if you are unsure of the meanings.

Please access the spelling task PowerPoint and complete the activity in your spelling journal.


1:30-1:40:  Stepping Stones Maths

Use the White Rose Maths videos to recap last week's learning about Multiples and Factors- you have time to watch two videos.


1:40-2:25: Computing


Following on from your Scratch investigations last week, this week we will be looking at "Variables in Games."

You will need your jotter, something to write with, and for your parents to set you up with a Scratch Online Account if you haven't already got one.

Remember to pause the video if the teacher asks you to and complete any activities you are asked to do. This is the link you will need for the Scratch project the teacher asks you to look at



2:30- Log on to Teams for your MATHS INPUT

Complete the Times table Probes, Related Facts, and Arithmetic Slides in your Maths Jotters just like we do in class and mark them using the Answer slides.

Then complete the pages in your Power Maths text book that your teacher has asked you to do. Answers to these questions can also be found on the Maths slides.
