9:50-10:25: Science 1
We are continuing our learning about Forces. In this lesson, we will learn about contact forces. We will discuss air and water resistance and examine what balance and unbalanced forces are. We will also investigate friction. Based on our investigation we will make conclusions about the causes and characteristics of friction.
Complete the quiz and then watch the video in 'lesson 3' of Forces on the Oak National Academy website (follow the link below).
At different stages of the video you need to pause the video and complete the activities in your Science book. There is also a worksheet to complete after you have watched the video.

1:30-1:40: Stepping Stones Maths
Watch the video about Cube Numbers to revise our learning from last week. Record any working out, jottings or key facts in your Maths Jotters:
1:40-2:25: Science 2
Use this time to finish your Science learning. If you have already finished, you could make a poster about the Contact Forces you have learned about this morning.
2:30- Log on to Teams for your MATHS INPUT
After the Maths Input, please complete the Times table Probes, Related Facts, and Arithmetic Slides in your Maths Jotters just like we do in class and mark them using the Answer slides.
Then complete the pages in your Power Maths text book that your teacher has asked you to do. Answers to these questions can also be found on the Maths slides.
Remember to send a message or email to the teacher completing the Remote Learning if you need any more help or support.
