8:40 - 9:10 - Reading

Below are the resources that you need to complete your Reading lesson. All the instructions are in the PowerPoint and the task document and example answers are below. All of the resources are available on Microsoft Teams also.

9:10 - 10:15 - English

For English today, you have the PowerPoint presentation below, which will share with you all of the instructions you need to complete the task.

Today's task has been set as an assignment on Microsoft Teams.

10:15 - 10:30 - Oxford Owl Reading

You are to use Oxford Owl Reading website to access the e-library. You can then use the login details below to choose a book to read for this 15 minute session.

Username: bwyr6

Password: Borrow1

If you have any problems accessing the website, send Mr Gallagher or Mr Mills a message in the English channel on Microsoft Teams.

10:30 - 10:45 - Handwriting

In your handwriting book, we would like you to write a line of each of the words below before putting each word into a sentence.

  1. incredibly
  2. sensibly
  3. reliably
  4. respectably
  5. agreeably
  6. enviably

In order to put each word into a sentence, you need to be aware of their definition. If you do not have access to a dictionary, use dictionary.com as a way of support.

10:45 - 11:00 - Break Time

Do not forget that you are expected to be ready on Microsoft Teams for your Maths input at 11:00 prompt.

11:00 - 11:20 - Maths Input

It is now time for you to log into Microsoft Teams for Mr Gallagher to deliver your Maths input.

11:20 - 12:15 - Maths

Before starting your work in your Power Maths book, use the PowerPoint below so you can complete your warm up activities.

12:15 - 13:15 - Lunch Time

13:15 - 14:00 - PE

As it is difficult for us to deliver a PE lesson, we are recommending you complete one of two options.

Option 1

Here is a link to The Body Coach YouTube channel where you can access exercise videos aimed at children.

Option 2

The Government are allowing people outdoors to carry out some form of exercise, whether this is walking, running or cycling. You are allowed to exercise by yourself, with the people you live with or with one person from another household as long as you are on your own. Instead of completing a Body Coach video, you may want to go out for a walk, run or cycle.

14:00 - 14:55 - Computing

For Computing, we would like you to complete the first lesson in the 'Variables in Games' unit from the Oak National Academy.

Here is the link that you need for the Scratch website.

When it comes to saving your work in Scratch, you can click on file, save to your computer. There should not be a need to create an account; however, if you do want to create an account, this is something you will need to set up with your parent or carer as you are under the age of 13.

14:55 - 15:15 - English Input

It is now time for you to log into Microsoft Teams for Mr Gallagher to deliver your English input.
