CLASS 100 SQUARE
Numbers are coloured in on the 100 square when the children have followed expectations. Staff can award a 100 square because the whole class is behaving really well. The numbers are coloured in on the class hundred square.
Look out for the following behaviours:
- Walking quietly as a class along corridors and between buildings
- Sitting quietly in assembly
- Entering and leaving the hall quietly
- Walking into a class and finding everyone on task
- Tidy classroom
- Working well together
- Showing great listening skills
- Lining up on the playground quickly and quietly
The children can choose a class treat when 25, 50, 75 and 100 squares have been filled in. Treats are decided democratically in each class. If the behaviour of some children does not contribute to the completion of the 100 square they could miss some or all the treat. This is to ensure that the children, who behave well, are rewarded and can see that the system is fair.
