Read this story:

Parker lived in a house near a hill. He had a green t-shirt with a football on it. He loved to play football.

He went to the park to see his friends. All of a sudden, it started to rain.

Parker stood under a bridge and waited for the rain to stop.

Then, he went to see his granny. His granny lived in a house near a pond. She passed him a cookie.

1. What did Parker live near?
2. How did he feel when he was at the park?
3. Write a word that means the same as “below”.
4. Who lived near a pond?
5. Find and finish the sentence. All of a sudden…

Please complete the following handwriting practice in your red handwriting books.

Please write a whole line of each letter. Remember to write and underline today's date: 13.1.21

Maths (1:50 - 1:05)

Please log into Microsoft Teams for a 20 minute maths input.

Then complete pages 145 - 147 in your Power Maths book. 

Phonics (1:50 - 2:10)

Watch and join in with the pre-recorded phonics lesson for your group. We have emailed you with details of which video your child should watch and join in with.

Diary entry and golden time (2:10-3:00)

Please write a short diary entry explaining your favourite parts of the week, and anything you have struggled with. Please write these each Friday in the BACK of your pink English books - make sure you write and underline the date: Friday 21st

When you have finished the diary entry, enjoy some golden time. 

Optional Year 1 assembly (3:05-3:15)

We are having a Year 1 assembly so that the children learning from home have the opportunity to see the their friends learning in school. 

We will be starting at 15:05pm and finishing at 15:15pm.
