Resources: Reading book, pencil, ruler.
Jordan is on his way to school on his new bike and the big helmet his mum has made him wear has attracted some unwanted attention from Maxwell Foster
Read page 28 and 29 to yourself. When you have read to the end of page 29 you need to STOP.
In your yellow reading books you are going to do the following:
Write the long date and title and underline both.
Date: Friday 15th January 2021
Title: The Soup Movement - Page 28/29
Then we would like you to answer the questions that are attached to this assignment (at the bottom of the page.) You will need to keep looking back at page 28 and 29 to be able to answer them.
Teams can read it for you! If you are able to read the text yourself or with an adult then please do that but if you find it difficult there is an option to select 'immersive reader' which will then read the text out for you. You could always read it to yourself AND listen to it as well.
ANOTHER TOP TIP!
If you are unsure of a word's meaning you can of course go online and look it up (I would recommend https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/) but also if you click on some words they will display some pictures of the meaning of the word which might help you to understand it. This is especially helpful if your adults at home are busy doing their own work.

Doing PE via teams is going to be very tricky. Everyone will have different equipment and space available to them. The main thing is to do something active. You might run around in your garden, you might practise your football skills, catching skills or throwing skills. Another idea could be to create your own circuits using equipment from around the home. Think about the circuits we have done in school for ideas, be creative, try out different ideas.
Maybe you could try a boxercise class:
