Salary: | Grade E, Scale 10 – 14, £26,835 - £28,624 (FTE) a year pro rata |
Hours: | 35 hours a week (8:30am – 4:00pm), term time only plus 1 week to attend meetings, parents evening and some additional duties. |

Summary Description Borrow Wood Enhanced Resource Facility is a new provision for children with complex communication and interaction needs, which has just opened for the Summer Term 2025 in a custom designed, newly refurbished area of the school. This vacancy is a unique opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to play a key part in our new ERF provision. The successful candidate will work within our ERF team to ensure that Borrow Wood’s Enhanced Resource Facility delivers excellent provision to meet the individual needs of each child and makes a real difference to the lives of children and families in Derby City. There will also be the opportunity to further develop your skills, knowledge and practice through coaching and support from experienced ERF colleagues, alongside a range of CPD. Borrow Wood Primary School is part of the Odyssey Collaborative Trust (OCT). OCT is a local Derby City trust currently consisting of 7 schools. The Trust has a strong ethical vision based on retaining the identity and ethos of each individual school, whilst working together to promote and maximize opportunities to provide the best possible education for all children across the Trust. Odyssey Collaborative Trust already has one successful ERF provision based at Springfield Primary School. The new Enhanced Resource Facility will be an integral part of Borrow Wood Primary School, sharing the whole school ethos of: CHOICE
