  • Have a ‘hands on, can do’ approach
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance around the premises, both inside and out
  • Unlock school site on arrival and complete a daily safety check of school
  • Manage the premises and grounds and demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety regulations required for the post e.g. water hygiene, fire safety, COSHH
  • Ensure the site is clean, safe and welcoming to pupils, staff and visitors

The Assistant Site Manager is expected to attend to emergencies outside of school hours, therefore a full driving licence and car is essential. These additional hours would be paid as overtime.

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, or in the building trade, is desirable.

The post is 12.5 hours per week, term time only.

We also encourage our staff to be open minded to all learning opportunities for themselves and therefore place high value on CPD to keep up to date with skills and knowledge.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.  The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

CLOSING DATE: Friday 8th January 2021 by 12.00pm.  Successful applicants will be informed by email or phone.
